Bestway of New York is comprised of two self-sufficient, wholesale distribution locations in Cortland and Gouverneur, New York.

Cortland: 

Bestway was originally established in Cortland, New York, and is the site of the corporate headquarters and the sales management team for all of Bestway. All inventory purchasing, wholesale building material sales, dispatching, REMAN and staining operations are performed at the Cortland location, making us one of the largest wholesale distributors of building products in the Northeast. Known brands such as Owens Corning, Weyerhaeuser, Dow, Certainteed, Weatheredge and Cabots compliment our Pressure Treated lumber production, all of which are sold to retail lumber and building material facilities throughout our distribution network. This facility houses a treating plant, dry kiln capacity, numerous warehouses, weight station and repair shop for the fleet of 28 tractors and 50 trailers.

Gouverneur:

Our facility in Gouverneur, NY was established as a sister operation for Cortland in 1998. The geographic location of this facility made Bestway’s ability to service our Northern most regional customers a reality. The Gouverneur location contains a 13,300 BF capacity treating cylinder,     warehouses, weigh station and rail siding to accommodate all of the “real-time needs” of our customers. In addition, we are able to store many of the same building materials as the Cortland facility, giving our customers that much needed relationship management and customer service that they have come to expect.
